Un coup de projecteur qui, je l\u2019esp\u00e8re, sera salvateur pour notre ville et ses voisines travers\u00e9es par cet axe majeur qui draine, \u00e0 lui seul, 70 000 v\u00e9hicules par jour dont de tr\u00e8s nombreux poids lourds ! Comme je l\u2019ai expliqu\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9quipe journalistique de TF1 avec qui nous avons travaill\u00e9 pour aboutir \u00e0 ce reportage ; depuis que je suis Maire de Linas, j\u2019ai malheureusement d\u00fb faire face, avec les services de secours, \u00e0 une douzaine d\u2019accidents mortels sur une portion de route qui fait \u00e0 peine 3km sur notre territoire \u00e0 Linas.. Plus de 60 accidents par an ont lieu en moyenne sur cette voie entre Etampes et Longjumeau, entrainant de nombreux bless\u00e9s et parfois des morts. Neuf victimes sont \u00e0 d\u00e9nombrer, rien que pour les deux derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, et pour la moiti\u00e9 de ces accidents mortels, des poids lourds \u00e9taient impliqu\u00e9s&#8230; Vitesse excessive, non-respect des distances de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 ou du temps de repos, p\u00e9age autoroutier exorbitant et dissuasif, les camions sont au c\u0153ur de la probl\u00e9matique de la dangerosit\u00e9 de la RN20 comme nous n\u2019avons pas eu de mal \u00e0 le d\u00e9montrer dans le reportage. Avec les autres Maires, je milite pour la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019un boulevard urbain pour dissuader les poids lourds en transit d\u2019emprunter la RN20. Un projet chiffr\u00e9 \u00e0 200 millions dans le projet d\u2019am\u00e9nagement du Syndicat Mixte d\u2019Etudes de la RN20 (organisme intercommunal regroupant 16 communes travers\u00e9es). Cette \u00e9tude qui date de 2015 a \u00e9t\u00e9 commandit\u00e9e sur un tron\u00e7on de 20 kilom\u00e8tres entre Longjumeau et Arpajon. Le projet consiste \u00e0 organiser la mutation urbaine de cet axe r\u00e9habilit\u00e9 avec l\u2019arriv\u00e9e d\u2019un nouveau transport en commun, en partie avec une voie d\u00e9di\u00e9e. Plus que jamais, il est temps de se mobiliser pour faire aboutir ce projet. Pour qu\u2019il n\u2019y ait plus d\u2019accident, pour qu\u2019il n\u2019y ait plus jamais de mort.
