Free et Covage ont sign\u00e9 le 17 janvier 2019 un partenariat qui permettra \u00e0 Free de proposer son offre de Fibre optique sur les R\u00e9seaux d\u2019Initiative Publique (RIP) dans les territoires couverts par Covage parmi lesquels le Calvados, l\u2019H\u00e9rault, la Haute-Savoie, la Seine-et-Marne, la Somme et les r\u00e9seaux initi\u00e9s par les agglom\u00e9rations de Dunkerque, S\u00e9nart, Paris-Saclay, M\u00e9tropole Europ\u00e9enne de Lille, Essonne Num\u00e9rique soit pr\u00e8s de 1,4 million de prises Fibre d\u2019ici 2023. L\u2019offre Fibre de Free sera disponible sur ces territoires de mani\u00e8re progressive au cours des prochains mois. \u00ab Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 cet accord avec Covage, Free confirme son statut de 1er op\u00e9rateur alternatif sur la fibre optique (FTTH) et l\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration de ses d\u00e9ploiements sur l\u2019ensemble des territoires \u00bb a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Thomas Reynaud, Directeur G\u00e9n\u00e9ral d\u2019Iliad. \u00ab Nous sommes tr\u00e8s fiers d\u2019accueillir Free sur nos r\u00e9seaux FTTH. L\u2019arriv\u00e9e d\u2019un nouvel op\u00e9rateur national va permettre aux particuliers d\u2019acc\u00e9der \u00e0 une gamme de services \u00e9largie sur tous les r\u00e9seaux d\u2019initiative publique que nous couvrons.
